iMatter Warrington and North West is a community interest organization aimed at protecting the most vulnerable members of the community in Warrington and the surrounding areas. We aim to meet the needs of Black Africans and ethnic minority groups within the community, providing support and a listening ear.

We value each individual and provide person-centered support packages that address social isolation and limited access to quality assessments and referrals into NHS services, especially for those without tangible social or informal support.

This service was created in response to the need for community-based promotion of positive mental health and well-being. There is also a strong need for the project to support the mental health of young people and help prevent them from reaching a crisis point. This approach promotes a shift from a hospital-based environment to community-focused mental health support.

It ensures care is personalized, person-centred, and collaborative - moving from passive care to active participation in planning, delivery, and evaluation, ultimately enhancing safety, dignity.
